Put all seventeen here. The email, the appointment, what you said, what they need, what you cannot forget. One per line, one long paragraph, half a sentence. Messy is the point.

Keep going until your head feels quieter. Do not organize it.

Your words never go to Dōpo. When you close the dump, they disappear from the screen.

Your brain is trying to keep the whole day running.

Bedtime is often the first moment nobody is asking anything from you. Then all seventeen things arrive at once: tomorrow's list, the permission slip, the email you forgot, the conversation you keep editing, the person who still needs an answer. This is one place to put all of it down without turning bedtime into another project.

In a small sleep-lab experiment, people who spent five minutes writing a specific to-do list fell asleep faster than people who wrote about completed tasks. That does not prove every brain dump changes sleep, and this is not a treatment. It does make writing down what tomorrow needs a reasonable, low-stakes ritual to try.
