the honest sleep drink

Turn your brain off.

Your body clocked out at ten. Your brain is still running the meeting at three. Dopo is the last quiet pour that lets the whole day be finished.

$39 founding price for the first 100, shown up front. First run ships early fall.

for the mind that will not clock out

Nothing else needs your answer tonight.

The problem is not that you forgot how to sleep. The day simply never gave you a clean place to put it down.

10:42pm

The day is over. Your brain missed the memo.

Tomorrow is rehearsing itself. A conversation from 2019 wants one more edit. Your body is ready, but your mind is still taking attendance.

one last decision

Pour. Stir. Put the phone down.

One scoop of tart cherry in cold water. A real glass, the good one. The grown-up answer to the sleepy girl mocktail, and the point where nobody else gets an answer from you.

the part that matters

Not a fix. An off switch.

You were never broken. Dopo isn't a knockout, and it isn't another thing to optimize - it's a small, repeatable way to let the whole day be finished.

so, what's in it

Four ingredients, seen up close.

Glycine

3 g

the amino acid sleep researchers study at exactly this dose. 3 grams, not a sprinkle.

Fine white glycine crystals on warm paper

L-theanine

200 mg

the green-tea amino studied for calm without sedation, at the studied 200 mg.

Fresh green tea leaves, the source of L-theanine

Magnesium glycinate

200 mg

the gentle, absorbable form of magnesium, chosen to be easy on your stomach at night.

Chalky white magnesium powder on warm paper

Lemon balm

300 mg

an evening herb with centuries of use behind it, at a full 300 mg.

This is the launch formula as it stands today. If a number changes before production, the label and this page change with it.

before you ask

Honest answers, up front.

Everything you'd otherwise research at midnight, answered where the label lives.

Why no melatonin

Melatonin is a hormone you'd be dosing every single night, and it isn't part of Dopo. The wind-down is built from gentler things, each one printed on the front of the tub. No hormone also means no melatonin hangover at 7am.

Will it keep me down at 3am?

That question is the reason the formula looks the way it does. Glycine is the ingredient sleep researchers study for the second half of the night, and 3 g is the dose those studies use - not a sprinkle. We won't promise your 3am. We'll show you every dose on the front so you can check our math.

How to drink it

One scoop of tart cherry in cold water, about thirty minutes before bed. A real glass, the good one. Nightly is the point: the ritual does some of the work before the formula does.

When you'll feel it

We'd rather under-promise. Some people notice the first night; the research behind glycine and magnesium is built on nightly use across weeks. Give it two honest weeks of real nights before you judge it.

The research, honestly

Every ingredient is studied at the dose on our label - that's why the doses look the way they do. The finished drink hasn't run its own clinical trial. Almost nothing in this aisle has; we're just the ones saying it out loud. Ingredient science on the front, our own worn-ring nights shared as they happen.

Never trapped, never guilted

Pause or cancel in one click. No hold music, no guilt screen on the way out. Dopo stays on the nightstand only as long as it earns the spot.

the ritual, in two steps

How to pour it.

It takes one glass a night, about thirty minutes before bed.

  1. 1.

One scoop of tart cherry in cold water. Use the good glass.

  2. 2.

Stir, and put the phone down. The night takes it from there.

Your body's been ready for hours.

Now let your mind follow it down.

All the way off.

Dopo, Italian for after

The day gets an ending.

After dinner. After the inbox. After you finally put the phone down and let the whole thing be over. That after is yours. Dopo is just its name.

the last pour of the day

Make Dopo your last pour.

One scoop of tart cherry in cold water. Fifteen minutes that belong to no one but you. Wine does this job for about twenty minutes, then taps you awake at 3am. Dopo is the pour that doesn't ask for anything back.

Tart cherry is the flavor; the sleep work belongs to the doses on the front, not the fruit.

Will and Sam

Two brothers. No sleep-brand theater.

We built Dopo for the person lying awake with a body that is done and a mind that is not, because the honest version of that drink did not exist yet.

Real doses on the front, no melatonin, nothing hidden. The glass we would want someone we love reaching for instead of another pour of wine.

We will share the real nights as they happen, not a highlight reel.

Faces and kitchen photos land when the first run does. Two kitchens, two states, one formula - that's the honest version right now.

the receipts

Proof will be worn, not written.

We sleep in our rings. When the first run ships, our own before-and-after nights land right here - real screenshots, awake time and all, never a borrowed graph. Until then we'd rather show you an empty space than a curve we didn't earn.

supplement standards

What we leave out says the most.

Every batch of the first run goes to a third-party lab, and the certificate of analysis lands on this page the day we get it. You'll be able to read the whole document yourself.

There's no batch yet, so there's nothing to show. Same rule as the receipts: an empty space beats a borrowed logo.

before you pour

Fair questions.

What does it taste like?

The launch flavor is Tart Cherry: dark and tart, barely sweet. Made to be sipped slowly from a real glass, the way you'd end any good night.

When does it ship?

The first run is planned for early fall. The first 100 list hears everything before anyone else, including the honest version if we run late.

What will it cost?

$39 for a tub, about a month of nights. Subscribing brings it down, and the first 100 keep their founding price for as long as they stay subscribed. Full pricing up front, always.

Will there be a subscription?

Yes. Pause or cancel in one click, with no hoops and no guilt screen on the way out.

Who is Dopo for?

Overthinkers. People whose bodies are done by 10pm while their brains keep scheduling meetings, especially the 3am club and the people who tried melatonin and hated the fog. If you fall asleep the second your head hits the pillow, you honestly don't need us.

What does Dopo mean?

After, in Italian. As in after dinner, after the day, after you finally log off.

Off.

join the first 100

You don't need to be fixed. You need an off switch.

Build the last pour with us. You will get the first pour, your $39 founding price kept for as long as you stay subscribed, and a quiet note only when there is something real to share. When the 100 fill, the founding price closes and we will say so here.
